Terms and Conditions

All maps, prints and atlases are guaranteed to be original prints over 100 years old, unless otherwise stated. Items are as described and illustrated, and significant imperfections are noted. Books are as described. If a buyer is not satisfied with a purchase for any reason, they may return it at their own cost and risk within 14 days. Provided the item arrives in the same condition as originally despatched, a full refund of the purchase price will be made, less the cost of postage and packing.

All items are offered subject to remaining unsold at the time the order is received and funds cleared. Items remain the property of Copperplate until payment has been made and cleared in full, whereafter title passes to the customer from the time of despatch.

Prices shown are net and are quoted in £GB. Payments in foreign currencies can only be accepted if made by credit card, and the rate of exchange will be that determined by the card issuer and prevailing on the date the transaction details reach them.

For deliveries in the UK, postage and packing is charged at a flat rate for loose maps and prints, irrespective of quantity ordered. Delivery will be by Royal Mail Recorded Signed For or Special Delivery Next Day service, under the terms and conditions applicable to the relevant scheme, including compensation/insurance for loss/damage.

For UK deliveries of atlases and books postage is charged at actual cost, and packing at £2 flat rate per order and will be notified and agreed with the customer before the order is processed.

For all overseas orders, despatch is by appropriate Royal Mail or other service to be agreed with the customer, and will be charged at cost plus £2 for packing.
