Ipswich. Excursions in the County of Suffolk was written by T.K. Cromwell, and published by Longman and Co. in 1818. The work contained this town plan of Ipswich, engraved by Thomas Starling engraved this town plan which appeared as the front page in volume 2 of the work, which also included a county map by Sidney Hall and engravings by Thomas Higham. Longman published similar topographical works under similar titles for other counties (e.g. Norfolk in 1819), for which Starling again provided maps. Mounted.
